I chose to visit the islands of Yap also known as Wa'ab by locals, because I was told it was the most traditional of the islands of Micronesia. Grass Skirts, thatched huts and WiFi can co exist side by side here. I respect the people of Yap for the choices they have made to keep intact their culture in a rapidly invading world.
